20 years of authentic design

SITAG Seating Forms is a Polish independent company offering office furniture from the Swiss brand SITAG, which is synonymous with perfect ergonomic and technical solutions, modern design and high quality materials. SITAG Formy Siedzenia has been producing SITAG chairs since 1997.

The design of the Sitag icon was to strengthen consumers’ awareness of the 20-year history of SITAG’s production of office furniture in Poland. Additionally, it was to provoke the discussion on how much value is really placed on original design. Does original design have any chances of competing with imitative products?

Creativity

To work on the project we invited people for whom creativity is a way of life. They have the courage to be inspired by everything that surrounds us.
Our role was to prepare the visual identity for the project, a series of images referring to shapes of nine office chair models, Icons of Sitag.

Our cooperation

The outcome of the cooperation was an illustrated biography of the brand, whose products – milestones – were presented in the form of impressive collages.

The campaign titled “Form as a diagram of powers. 20 years of authentic design” lasted from October 2014 to mid-2015. Its key element was images designed by Andrzej Dobosz. The images and their accompanying texts were presented in the media and as part of a cycle of exhibitions organized in the biggest Polish cities, combined with panel discussions on the topic of authentic design in architecture, industrial design and graphics.
