The power of cooperation

The Wielkopolska branch of the Association of Polish Artistic Photographers and the Municipal Culture Centre in Gniezno made an attempt at uniting forces and proposed a collective action under the slogan The power of cooperation. The aim of this activity was to create a mobile photo exhibition to commemorate the Wielkopolska Uprising and day-to-day patriotic conduct.

Thrift and cooperation are Wielkopolska’s important distinctive features, which led to the victorious Wielkopolska Uprising. Do they still exist? The exhibition, itself a fruit of joined activities, is a search for the answer to this question.

The exhibition presented photographs of such artists as Wojciech Beszterda, Andrzej Dobosz, Andrzej Florkowski, Tytus Grodzicki, Zofia Kawalec-Łuszczewska, Maciej Kuszela, Marek Lapis, Piotr Nowak, Zdzisław Orłowski, Stanisław Pręgowski, Antoni Rut, Piotr Spek, Krzysztof Ślachciak, and Sławomir Tobis.

Our cooperation

The exhibition was accompanied by an eponymous publication (Siła współpracy), which was an album of the exhibition with the curator’s commentary by dr hab. Hanna Grzeszczuk-Brendel. The project was co-financed by funds of the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region, as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Wielkopolska Uprising.
Our role was to propose a visual identity for the exhibition, to design the logo and poster, as well the publication of the exhibition catalogue.

Work of scope:

  • Key visual
  • Design of logotype
  • Design of poster
  • Graphic concept, cover design of photobook
