Szymon Brodziak is a photographer specialising in staged black-and-white photography. In 2015, he became the first Polish artist and the youngest artist to present his work at the Museum of Photography – Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin. The project included personal branding for the photographer and the visual identity of Brodziak Gallery in Poznań.

The identity is built around the B monogram – a custom stamp used to sign photographs and gallery materials. The symbol also functions as a standalone element within the gallery space. A monochrome palette, restrained typography and layouts based on large-scale photography keep Brodziak’s images in the foreground while connecting communication across print, digital media and the gallery interior.

We designed Szymon Brodziak’s logo, key visual, visual identity and website. We developed the system across promotional materials, digital communication and the Brodziak Gallery space. The monogram functions as a symbol of both the personal brand and the gallery, appearing in print, online and in the interior, where it also takes the form of an illuminated three-dimensional object.
