(01) Project Definition
The Mieroszewski Centre conducts public opinion research into how Poles, Ukrainians and Belarusians perceive one another, migration, war and relations between states. The results reveal changing social attitudes – levels of trust, distance, concern and sympathy. The report series needed a form that could organise extensive data while retaining the social and political weight of the issues being studied.
(02) Visual Mechanism
Circles, segments, squares, lines and bars drawn from charts became a visual alphabet for proportions, divisions, similarities and shifts in opinion. They function as infographics, build the rhythm of a cover or visualise a research finding. Large numbers and bold typography highlight key information, while changing layouts and colours give each report its own character.
(03) Solution
We developed the creative concept and visual identity for the entire series. The system covers covers, publication structure, charts, tables and infographics. The reports are published in multiple languages, so the typography and layout rules accommodate extended character sets while maintaining consistent layouts across languages. A shared visual language allows readers to compare successive studies and observe the changing picture of social relations in Eastern Europe.
(04) Activation
We designed the reports for print and online publication and created an information campaign supporting each new release and communicating its findings. This included social media posts and animations, printed leaflets and materials for promotional events. Each report received its own visual configuration while remaining part of a recognisable Mieroszewski Centre series.
