The Enigma Cipher Centre in Poznań tells the story of the Polish mathematicians who broke the Enigma code and explores the development of cryptology and its significance in today’s digital world. Our collaboration focused on developing the existing identity across the institution’s communication – from the opening campaign to subsequent events, educational programmes and anniversary activities.

The starting point was a symbol based on the idea of a code. We developed its modular geometry into a system that can hide, reveal and transform content. Letters, photographs and information form fields reminiscent of cipher text, while the same principle allows different compositions to be created for different subjects and audiences.
We developed the system across campaigns, animations, posters and social media communication. We also designed institutional and educational leaflets, as well as dedicated solutions for recurring event series. Each edition can have its own character while retaining the recognisable elements of the Enigma Cipher Centre’s visual language.
